I. Applications, Working Principles, and Features

1. Applications

Lifting degasser is designed for refining Al-Si, Al-Mg, Al-Zn, and Al-Cu alloy melts through physical and chemical interactions, improving aluminum melt quality and enhancing final product performance.

2. Working Principles

Basic Mechanism: A graphite rotor creates a vortex in the molten aluminum. Solid flux particles are evenly fed into the vortex center via a feeder motor, where mechanical stirring and micro-inert gas injection facilitate full contact between flux and melt for slag removal.

Degassing Process: Controlled rotation injects inert gas (Ar/N₂) through the rotor as micro-bubbles. Hydrogen diffuses into bubbles due to pressure differentials (ΔP principle), while non-metallic inclusions adhere to bubble surfaces. Gas bubbles ascend to the surface, carrying impurities away.

3. Key Features

Dual Functionality: Integrated degassing and flux refining with independent/combined operation modes

Control System: Mitsubishi PLC + Weilun 7" touchscreen with manual/automatic modes and fault diagnostics

Parameter Adjustment: Configurable degassing time, rotation speed, powder feeding rate

Automated Workflow: Automatic sequence control (gas injection → rotation → powder feeding → degassing)

Powder Feeding: Electric mechanical feeder with adjustable speed/volume

Mechanical Design: High-performance wear-resistant linear guides with anti-oxidation treatment
